PBS show about John O'Donohue

This message just arrived from Barry Kibrick -
the host of "Between the Lines" on PBS

Dear Viewers:

I want to remind all my Los Angeles Viewers about the VERY SPECIAL, PRIME-TIME, ONE-HOUR Between the Lines debuting this FRIDAY NIGHT, JUNE 27 at 9:00 PM AND REPEATING WEDNESDAY NIGHT, JULY 2 at 9:00 PM. This one-hour special will feature two Between the Lines episodes that focus on the writings of John O'Donohue.

FOR NON-L.A. VIEWERS - You too can get a copy of this episode and a very special offer on John O'Donohue's Books and CD's by going to: www.klcs.org

John was a past guest with his book Beauty and was a viewer favorite. He passed away days before his new book titled: To Bless the Space Between Us was released, but his friend
Mike Farrell
, from the hit series M.A.S.H., was willing to come by and share John's words and blessing with us.

The episode so impressed the management at KLCS-TV that they wanted to create a special opportunity for viewers to not only see both episodes, but to also make John's books and CD's available to all of their viewers in appreciation for them becoming a member of the KLCS-TV family.

Immediately following my conversation with Mike Farrell you'll get to see John O'Donohue and my original conversation with him. Plus, you'll have an opportunity to become a member of the KLCS-TV family and to thank you for your support you'll have the chance to receive his books, along with their accompanying CD's and a copy of the one-hour Special, by visiting www.klcs.org

I strongly urge you to visit www.klcs.org and support the station that brings you Between the Lines, while having the great opportunity to get both of John's books, his CD's and the one-hour SPECIAL Video to thank you for your support of KLCS-TV.

This special won't disappoint and the offer by KLCS-TV to new members is a true delight.

So please tell all your friends and family to tune in to the prime-time special Friday, June 27 and Wednesday, July 2 at 9:00 PM and become a member of KLCS-TV by going to www.klcs.org

Have a great week,
Barry

In John's Name

There are many, many people and organizations worldwide who admire John’s work and love him. As people across the globe come together to express sorrow at his passing and celebration of his gifts, we are finding that it is very important to be clear about which activities are actually conducted by (or on behalf of) John’s family and estate. This way, we hope to ensure that John’s work is treated as he would want it to be, by those to whom he entrusted the task.

Sadly, it has recently come to our attention that there are those who may mistakenly believe that some of the programs, services, and fundraising by an organization known as "Miriam’s Well" are being conducted on John's behalf and are affiliated with his work, his family, and his estate.

We wish to clarify that the programs at Miriam’s Well are not in any way affiliated with John O'Donohue, his family, or his estate and are not arranged or conducted by us or on our behalf. Also, any requests by Miriam’s Well for donations in John’s name have been made without our permission and funds collected by Miriam’s Well are not administered by us or directed to our efforts in connection with John’s work, nor to his family, or his estate.

We have contacted the folks at Miriam’s Well about concerns arising as a result of some of their statements and we expect that they will understand and respond appropriately.

John's family is currently considering plans for a memorial fund or scholarship in John's name. We hope to be able to announce more detailed plans in the near future. In the meantime, we are deeply grateful for all the interest and support such efforts are receiving already. Thank you.
